Webinar Speakers

Prof. Neil Sipe 
Neil Sipe is Honorary Professor of Planning in the School of Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Queensland. He is the Editor of Australian Planner and Associate Editor-in-Chief of Geography and Sustainability. His research interests include transport and land use planning; natural resource management; and international comparisons of planning systems. 

Previously he was Director of the planning program at the University of Queensland, Associate Director of Griffith University’s Urban Research Program and of the Head of Griffith University’s School of Urban and Environmental Planning. He holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University (USA). 


Prior to coming to Australia in 1998, he was an investment banker and economic consultant.
