Message from Editor-in-Chief

We, Faculty of Geographical Science, Beijing Normal University, are pleased to announce the launce of Geography and Sustainability (GEOSUS, ISSN 2096-7438). GEOSUS is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal. It publishes original and significant, cutting-edge research related to geography and sustainability, encourages wider analysis and innovative thinking about global or regional sustainability through the bridging and synthesis of physical geography, human geography, ecology, hydrology, atmospheric, climate and social sciences. The first issue of GEOSUS will be published in March 2020 on Elsevier Database Platform. You are invited to contribute articles to our new journal, and promote geography for sustainability.

Aim and Scope

Geography and Sustainability seeks to build and connect multidisciplinary knowledge to increase the impact of research, to explore new development paths, and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals across local, regional, and global scales. Geography and Sustainability publishes Research articles, Review, Technical Comment, and Perspective articles. With this aim, Geography and Sustainability mainly focuses on the following five thematic areas.

• Geographical processes
• Human-Environmental Systems
• Ecosystem services and human wellbeing
• Sustainable development
• Geo-data and model for Sustainability

Article Submission
